Dining at The Candlewood
Your meals at The Cabins at China Lake are included in the price of your stay. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in Candlewood Lodge, where you can enjoy home-style cooking in our country-inn setting overlooking the lake. Meals are prepared fresh in our kitchen, and home-baked breads, muffins and desserts are our specialty.

Hiking or shopping? Taking a day trip? If you will be away at lunchtime, the kitchen staff will be happy to prepare box lunches for you.

Special events
setting up for the Luau
Occasionally we feel like doing something different, such as an outdoor barbeque or a Sunday buffet. The past couple of years we've brought in a guest chef and put on a Hawaiian Luau. These events aren't on a set schedule, so you may not have them on your particular vacation week. But what we do have for every guest who stays a week is our famous lobster and steamers dinner. It's our special treat for our guests. Yummy!
